Subwyn is a local-first subscription tracker for iPhone. This policy covers the Subwyn app, the website at subwyn.eldwynlabs.com, and support communications. We do not collect your subscription records from the app, require an account, or operate an app cloud-sync service. Website visits and email support are described separately below.
Subscription names, providers, prices, currencies, billing cycles, start dates, categories, notes, record IDs, and archived status are stored locally using Apple's SwiftData framework. App preferences, such as sorting and onboarding completion, are also stored on your device. These values are used to display and organize your records, calculate spending summaries, and schedule renewal reminders. The app does not upload this information to us.
If you grant permission, Subwyn schedules renewal reminders locally on your device. Reminder text includes the subscription name and may be visible on your lock screen according to your iOS settings. No push-notification server is used. You can disable permission or change notification previews at any time in Settings > Notifications > Subwyn.
The app contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, or social-media SDKs. It does not collect usage telemetry, connect to your subscription providers, access billing accounts, or make network requests to an external API. Opening a website link launches your browser, where the website's privacy practices apply.
Export creates a JSON file containing your active and archived subscription records. You choose where to save or share it using Apple's system interface. If you choose iCloud Drive, another cloud file provider, or a recipient, that service or recipient receives the file under its own privacy practices. Exports are not encrypted by Subwyn; store and share them carefully. We do not receive a copy automatically.
Import reads a file you select and merges its contents into local storage. Records with matching IDs are updated with the imported values; records with new IDs are added. Records absent from the file are not deleted.
Although Subwyn does not provide cloud sync, iOS may include the app's local data in iCloud or computer backups, depending on your device and backup settings. Apple manages those backups and any restoration. We cannot access them. You can manage device backups through Apple's settings and tools.
Local records remain until you delete them or remove the app. Archiving retains a record and removes it from active totals, charts, and reminders; it does not delete data or pause billing. Delete active records from the Subscriptions list and archived records from the Archived list. Deleting the app removes its local storage; offloading the app retains its data.
Deleting local records does not remove previously exported files, files shared with others, or copies in device backups. Manage those copies separately with the relevant service or recipient. We do not hold a server-side copy of your subscription records to delete. You can revoke notification permission in iOS Settings without losing access to the app.
The app's no-data-collection description does not mean that visiting this website makes no network requests. Your browser sends technical information, such as your IP address and browser request details, to the hosting provider to load these pages. The provider may process technical logs for operation and security.
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to retrieve them. Google receives request information, including your IP address. See Google Fonts privacy information and Google's Privacy Policy. The site's pages do not include analytics or advertising scripts. Links to the App Store and other external sites are governed by those services' policies.
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond to your request, investigate reported issues, and provide support. Our email provider processes the correspondence to deliver and store it. Please avoid sending sensitive subscription data unless it is necessary for your request.
Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle your request and meet applicable legal obligations. You may contact us to request deletion of support correspondence. This is separate from your on-device records, which you control directly.
We do not collect subscription data or usage telemetry from app users of any age. Subwyn is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support message, contact us to request its deletion.
We may update this policy when the app, website, or support practices change. The current version will be published on this page with a revised last-updated date.
If you have questions about this privacy policy or wish to request deletion of support correspondence, contact us at support@eldwynlabs.com.
